Our panel of experts will discuss how to work with presenters to increase the likelihood of CLE accreditation. You will learn presenter coaching strategies for developing high-quality written materials, and methods for effectively translating CLE rules to presenters in ways they can actually act on. Keisha Channer has 21 years’ experience as a continuing legal education professional. She has worked at Sidley Austin LLP in New York since 2004. In her role as Senior Professional Development Operations Manager, she leads a three-person team within the Learning & Development Team. Keisha’s operational responsibilities include CLE accreditation, compliance, record-keeping, and reporting as well as all related business systems and vendor relationships.
Keisha served as a panelist at the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board’s Accredited Provider Conference in 2013, 2014, and 2016. She has been an active ACLEA member since 2015, participating in various conference presentations, held a leadership role of co-chair of ACLEA’s MCLE Committee (2017-2021), and a member of the Jacksonville and Vancouver meeting planning committee.
Virginia Izaguirre is the Director of Program Planning at the State Bar of Texas. In this position, she manages the program planning teams within the TexasBarCLE department to oversee CLE course content, promotion, and presentation. Before joining TexasBarCLE, Virginia worked as a litigation attorney for firms that focused on personal injury, employment law, and 1st party insurance cases.
