Alyson Carrel is on the faculty at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and Co-Director of its nationally-ranked Center on Negotiation and Mediation. She was also appointed the law school's first Assistant Dean of Law and Technology. In these roles, she received a grant to purchase wearable cameras for negotiation simulation courses, a fellowship to integrate the A2J Author platform in a mediation advocacy clinic, and launched TEaCH LAW, a demonstration series for instructional technology. Her scholarship focuses on the future of the legal profession and the impact of emerging technology in dispute resolution. She recently launched a blog with Professor Cat Moon (Vanderbilt) called Design Your Delta, and co-authored a new textbook, Negotiation & Lawyers (West Academic, 2021).
