Michael Bloom is the founder and CEO of Praktio (www.praktio.com), a provider of modern training for reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents. Large law firms use Praktio to train their lawyers and staff, and large companies use Praktio to train their procurement departments.  Previously, Michael was a clinical professor at Michigan Law, where he was the founding director of the Transactional Lab & Clinic, through which students worked on transactional matters for large, mature organizations around the world and small, local organizations around the Law School. He served as Chair of the AALS Section on Technology, Law, and Legal Education for 2018 and as Chair-Elect of the AALS Section on Teaching Methods for 2018.  Before Michigan, Michael taught at Chicago Law and practiced at Sidley Austin, with a focus in mergers and acquisitions and technology transactions.
