Shane Read
Shane Read is the founder of Win at Persuasion. He is a nationally recognized expert who has helped thousands of people throughout the USA and Europe improve their ability to persuade, motivate and influence. Shane is also a former civil and criminal Assistant United States Attorney who has tried over 100 cases and is an award-winning author of litigation and persuasion textbooks. Two of his textbooks, Winning at Trial and Winning at Deposition, have won ACLEA’s award for Professional Excellence. His latest book, Winning at Persuasion for Lawyers, received the honor of a Kirkus Starred Review which is given to only two percent of books that are reviewed. Shane is a graduate of Yale University, the University of Texas School of Law, and is an adjunct professor at S.M.U.’s Dedman Law.
