BERNADETTE J.H. LAWSON is a legal marketing professional with more than 12 years developing and executing CLE programs for attorneys and clients. Bernadette joined Joseph, Hollander & Craft LLC, a premier litigation law firm in Missouri and Kansas as their Practice Support & Development Manager. Bernadette's role at JHC focuses on staff and attorney development and marketing/business development opportunities. Bernadette spent the majority of her legal career at Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. in various positions, including the Marketing Events Specialist where she focused on client development and Continuing Legal Education programs. Joining SHB in 1996 as a Health Care/Corporate paralegal, in 2008, she transitioned into the field of organizational and professional development as the Organizational Development Trainer. Her primary focus was on individual and team development, soft skills training, and organizing in-house Continuing Legal Education programs. Bernadette has been a member of ACLEA since 2011 and appointed to the Executive Committee in December 2020. She and her husband Stephen have two sons and two grandsons. In her spare time, Bernadette enjoys traveling with her family and practicing yoga.
Chris is the co-founder of ReelTime Creative Learning Experiences, an an international provider of dynamic, interactive CLE/CPD workshops, conferences, and PD training programs, committed to using the most proven and effective methods of adult learning to help professionals work (and interact with one another) more productively and sustainably. Chris began providing innovative CLE workshops on ethics, professional responsibility, and mental health/substance abuse awareness in 2007. Our workshops on these topics (and, more recently, diversity & inclusion and sexual misconduct prevention) have been enjoyed by thousands of participants in 25 U.S. States, as well as throughout Australia and Canada.
Alexandra is Manager, Program Delivery, with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) department at the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). In her fifteen years with LSO she has coordinated over 100 programs. Currently, Alexandra manages the LSO delivery team that is responsible for the annual delivery of over 90 CPD programs. Since joining ACLEA in 2008, Alexandra has been involved with the ACLEA Executive Committee, the Planning Committees for Montreal, San Diego and Chicago along with the Awards and Communications Committees. Alexandra has a Law Clerk designation from The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto
