Lawline


Eric Mathieu is the DEI Program Manager at Lawline. In this role, he is responsible for the expansion of Lawline’S DEI course catalog as well as strategically executing various DEI initiatives to support Lawline’s goal of positively impacting the legal profession. Prior to joining Lawline, Eric served as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at two independent schools in New York and Connecticut and the Diversity Coordinator at the Premier Lacrosse League. Eric holds a B.A. in Sociology from Bates College, as well as a M.Ed. in Education from the University of Hawaii, and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Director of Programming

ABA - CLE


Dan Becker is the Director of Programming for ABACLE. He oversees the production team that creates professional development and continuing legal education programs and products to provide ABA members, non-members, and the legal community at large with the quality education needed to establish and maintain high standards of practice, and to fulfill state bar requirements for CLE.

Before starting with CLE, Dan worked for the ABA’s Rule of Law Initiative, Latin America and Caribbean Division, administering the overseas programs of ABA/LALIC. Dan started his career in education as a history professor after obtaining his PhD at the University of Maryland before switching his career focus to legal associations. He previously worked as a writer/editor for the DC Bar’s Washington Lawyer magazine and wrote a monograph on judicial selection for the American Judicature Society.
